This Privacy Notice has been prepared by Area Medya, acting as the data controller, to inform you about the processing of your personal data in accordance with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK").

Under the KVKK, your personal data is processed by Area Medya, acting as the data controller, located at Birlik Mah. 477. Sok. No:1/1, Çankaya/Ankara, Türkiye, within the scope described below.

Personal Data Processed

Through our website and communication channels, we process your identity data (name, surname), contact data (e-mail address, phone number), the content of messages you submit via the contact form, and transaction security data related to your website visit (IP address, browser information, visit logs).

Purposes of Processing

Your personal data is processed for the purposes of handling and following up on your inquiries, carrying out information and proposal processes regarding the services you request, planning and executing service processes, managing client relations, ensuring the security and proper operation of the website, and fulfilling legal obligations.

Legal Grounds for Processing

Your personal data is processed on the legal grounds set out in Article 5 of the KVKK: the necessity of processing personal data of the parties to a contract, provided that it is directly related to the conclusion or performance of that contract; the necessity of processing for the data controller to fulfil its legal obligations; and the necessity of processing for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that this does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms. Where required, processing is based on your explicit consent.

Transfer of Personal Data

Limited to the purposes stated above, your personal data may be transferred to the hosting, infrastructure, and analytics service providers we work with, as well as to legally authorised public institutions and authorised private persons, in accordance with the conditions set out in Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK. Your data is not shared with third parties in any other circumstances.

Method of Data Collection

Your personal data is collected through the contact form on our website and through communication channels such as e-mail, phone, and WhatsApp, as well as via cookies and similar technologies during your website visit, by fully or partially automated means, or by non-automated means provided that the data forms part of a data recording system.

Your Rights Under Article 11 of the KVKK

Pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to: learn whether your personal data is being processed; request information about such processing; learn the purpose of processing and whether your data is used in accordance with that purpose; know the third parties to whom your data is transferred, in Türkiye or abroad; request the correction of incomplete or inaccurate data; request the deletion or destruction of your data under the conditions set out in Article 7 of the KVKK; request that such correction, deletion, or destruction be notified to the third parties to whom your data has been transferred; object to any outcome against you arising from the analysis of your data exclusively by automated systems; and claim compensation for damages incurred due to the unlawful processing of your data.

How to Submit a Request

You may submit requests regarding the rights listed above in writing, together with documents verifying your identity, to Birlik Mah. 477. Sok. No:1/1, Çankaya/Ankara, or by e-mail to info@areamedya.com.tr. Your request will be concluded free of charge as soon as possible and within thirty days at the latest, depending on its nature; if the process requires an additional cost, a fee may be charged in accordance with the tariff determined by the Turkish Personal Data Protection Board.

Changes to This Notice

Area Medya reserves the right to revise this Privacy Notice in line with changes in legislation and updates to its data processing activities. The current version is always published on our website.
